Dead Pixel Policy
Committed to providing customer satisfaction by offering high quality products, Wise Wing LCD monitors rarely have non-performing dots, more commonly referred to as "dead pixels." They can take the form of either a light or dark dot.
In compliance with ISO 13406-2 standards for LCD panels, we have set forth the following criteria for non-performing dots for all Wise Wing LCD monitors distributed by ProLink International to supplement the ProLink limited warranty.
NON-PERFORMING DOTS ALLOWED
(LIGHT, DARK, TOTAL)
15" LCD = (2, 3, 5)
17" LCD = (4, 4, 8)
19" LCD = (4, 4, 8)
If there is a cluster of some non-performing dots less than the allowable number, ProLink will take this into consideration depending on colors that are missing and the distance between the non-performing dots. ProLink will consider the location of the non-performing dots within a specific area. A dark dot will not have any color at all; it will be black. A light dot will have some color depending on your background color.
Note: It is possible that any service replacement display may also have some non-performing dots that fall along the acceptable range specified above. This should be considered when requesting a warranty replacement or exchange.
